Brothers Osborne go into next month's ACM Awards with four nominations in three categories, including Duo of the Year, which they’ve won three consecutive times. John and TJ Osborne face competition in that category from Dan + Shay, Maddie & Tae, Florida Georgia Line and LoCash, but rather than feel competitive toward their fellow nominees, the duo tells us they're just happy to be part of the “family.”
John explains: “One of the things I love about the country music genre is that it’s a family. We’re all really, really close. We’re all a bunch of misfits thrown together. We’re all a little different, but we love one another and respect one another, and I’m just honored for the both of us to be a part of this awesome family. (TJ) I will say to add on that, it sounds cliche to say it’s an honor to be nominated, but it really is.”
The ACM Awards will be held in Las Vegas on April 7th and air live on CBS.
In the meantime, Brothers Osborne are climbing the charts with “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You).”
