Blake Shelton's Ole Red restaurant, bar and live music venue in downtown Nashville is being sued by the city's Metro Historic Zoning Commission over the company’s decision to illuminate the exterior of the building in red light. According to The Tennessean, the Historic Zoning Commission passed a policy in August 2017 banning colored exterior lights in districts with historic overlays.

The Historic Zoning Commission is seeking an injunction ordering the venue to correct the lighting issue, claiming that it was only approved for white exterior lighting.

In the meantime, Blake is gearing up for his Friends & Heroes tour with special guest Lauren Alaina, along with The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson and Trace Adkins on select dates. The tour kicks off on February 14th in Oklahoma City, OK.
